Payment Payment is expected at the time that services are rendered. We participate in many managed care plans (a list is provided below), and ask that you bring your ID card with you on each visit in order to expedite billing. For obstetrics, hospitalizations, and surgeries, we are happy to file insurance claims for you. We do ask that deductibles, co-insurance (your portion) be paid, and payment for lab services be made at the time of your visit. We accept Cash, Check or Credit Card Balance must be paid in full prior to scheduling surgery There is a 25% cancellation fee due to non-medical reasons. Cancellation of a scheduled surgery because of a medical reason requires a signed note by a licensed physician. Payment covers the cost of the operating room (OR), supplies and equipment used, cost of anesthesia by certified nurse anesthetist (C-RNA), Dr. Novoa's surgical fee, and post-operative evaluations. Any and all additional costs must be paid by the patient.
