The First Choice staff consists of Dr. Julio C. Novoa, his Nurse Practitioner, (2) Licensed Vocational Nurses and his experienced staff of Medical Assistants. Dr. Novoa specializes in high risk deliveries such as the Trial of Labor After Cesarean Section (TOLAC)/Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section (VBAC) and Twin Vaginal Delivery. Despite having delivered more than 3000 babies since starting his practice in 1999, and currently delivering more than 300 babies per year, Dr. Novoa has one of the lowest Cesarean section rates in El Paso. His current rate of primary Cesarean Section is below 7%. His rate of Cesarean section for TOLAC/VBAC is 10%. First Choice offers two convenient locations throughout the El Paso and surrounding areas. We strive to provide our patients with the best possible health care available.
